Now new - the MIYO Expert Mode takes customer service to a new level

In the new "Expert Mode" of the MIYO app, additional functions are now available that allow you to customize MIYO individually. In addition, we have expanded our proven customer service with a ticket system.

The MIYO developers did not just spend the summer enjoying our lush green gardens. They also intensively worked on optimizing our products and services, because after the season is before the season. To tailor MIYO's functions even more individually to the needs of your plants, the brand new "Expert Mode" is now available in the MIYO app. Here is an overview of the new settings:

  • With the integration of an On/Off slider for the weather forecast, you can now decide whether the forecast should be considered for controlling the irrigation or not. However, it should be noted that storm and rain probabilities are also not considered once the weather forecast is turned off.
  • The consideration of the battery charge can now also be switched on and off with an On/Off slider. The background is as follows: For safety reasons, automatic irrigation only works if the average battery charge duration exceeds two hours per day, per week. This function can now be deactivated. But WARNING: We advise against permanent deactivation, as the valve's battery could run out during operation in the worst case, and the valve may no longer close. Please use this new function only for testing purposes or when we ask you to do so.
  • For a restart of the MIYO Cube, there is now a dedicated button in the app. Pressing this button for seven seconds initiates a restart (no factory reset), so all data and settings remain intact. The restart is complete as soon as all three green LEDs for "Power," "Radio," and "Cloud" on the top of the Cube light up again, or the Cube can be reached again via the app.
  • The "Link Mode" is another new function of the MIYO app. With this function, an additional user can also be paired and connected to the Cube remotely. For this, your app must already be connected to the Cube in the first step. Now press the "Link Mode" button. Person B can then also start the installation. Please make sure that during the installation (as usual) the MAC address of the Cube must be entered under the menu items System Settings -> Garden Management.

Customer Service with Ticket System

As mentioned in the introduction, we are taking our proven customer service to a new level and expanding it with a modern ticket system. As soon as one of our customers or partner companies contacts us with a service request, a ticket will be created in our system that records all the information necessary to process the concern. This allows requests and tasks to be delegated more quickly to the right employee and the processing status to be monitored. From now on, you can enjoy a faster and more targeted solution to your concerns and an overall even higher service quality. You can now track the current status of your ticket online. This way, as a start-up company and think tank for pioneering IoT solutions, we once again meet our claim to work innovatively, quickly, and in tune with the times.

Bought Miyo for my parents' garden to make gardening easier for them. I wasn't quite sure if my parents would get along with the technology. We then installed and set it up together, and it works wonderfully. The best part is that now 4 people can see the garden on their phones and make necessary adjustments. Clever, thoroughly thought-out system to the very end

Especially with regard to saving water, I think this is a clever idea. This year I also put a second irrigation circuit into operation; our carport roof has a bit too little substrate, so everything used to dry out there.
