The REHAU drip hose has integrated drip elements at intervals of 30 cm. This ensures targeted irrigation in the root area when laid underground. The drip elements are pressure-compensating, meaning that within a relatively large pressure range, the water output remains constant even with pressure fluctuations. Furthermore, they are a combination of a labyrinth and a silicone membrane. Swirling in the labyrinth prevents sediment deposits, creating a self-cleaning effect. The membrane ensures pressure equalization. The drip hose can be used both above and below ground. When laid underground, nearly 100% water utilization is possible, as no evaporation or wind drift can occur.

By targeted and dropwise delivery, up to 70% water can be saved when laid in the soil, and about 50% when laid above ground.

An ideal complement is the Rehau drip hose/pearl hose accessory set with T-pieces, 90° angles, extensions, and end pieces. To prevent clogging of the nozzles, we recommend using a water filter, especially with older pipes or, for example, well systems.


Ideally used with the smart MIYO irrigation. With sensor-controlled irrigation, the irrigation limits are usually set narrowly. If no Sensor is used, the water pressure should be set very low and long irrigation times should be used.

Bought Miyo for my parents' garden to make gardening easier for them. I wasn't quite sure if my parents would get along with the technology. We then installed and set it up together, and it works wonderfully. The best part is that now 4 people can see the garden on their phones and make necessary adjustments. Clever, thoroughly thought-out system to the very end

Especially with regard to saving water, I think this is a clever idea. This year I also put a second irrigation circuit into operation; our carport roof has a bit too little substrate, so everything used to dry out there.
