The MIYO advantages
"This is how MIYO makes your garden smarter, more economical, and environmentally friendly."

- MIYO is an automatic irrigation system. It is powerful in functionality and easy to use at the same time. You can divide your garden into as many irrigation zones as you like. Each zone is individually configurable. For example, you can equip the lawn area with a Sensor and water automatically to save over 50% of water during periods of frequent rainfall and to avoid soil compaction due to overwatering. If your vegetable bed is watered with a drip hose, you can do without the Sensor and set any time windows. These can be the same every day, or you can create a plan for the whole week. Of course, you can take rain and rain forecasts into account. MIYO will skip watering when rain is forecasted. You can manually water another irrigation zone - anytime and anywhere from your smartphone.
Healthy soil, healthy plants
- Through optimized irrigation, plants and soil receive the amount of water they need. This helps you avoid overwatering and waterlogging. See this interesting article about the consequences of waterlogging. These include soil compaction, soil erosion, root damage, nutrient deficiency, oxygen deficiency, and the death of many microorganisms in the soil. Soil moisture measurement with the MIYO soil moisture sensor allows the soil to remain in the optimal water range for a longer time than would be possible with conventional irrigation computers. This is good for root growth and soil structure and saves a lot of water and money.

- Sensor and valves are solar charged. With a full battery, the devices run for 8 to 10 weeks without charging. To maintain the charge, a few hours of sunlight per day are sufficient. Direct sunlight is not necessary; even devices facing north charge when it is bright. This saves many batteries and money every year. The built-in nickel-metal hydride batteries are very robust and less environmentally harmful than lithium-ion batteries. Many MIYO devices have been running for more than 5 years.
- Conventional valves consume at least 3 AA batteries per irrigation season. MIYO requires 3 AAA batteries for a lifespan of 5-10 years. The savings of about 12 to 30 batteries per Valve (!) over the lifespan of the devices is an important contribution to conserving resources and the environment.

- The MIYO system is radio-based, so no cables need to be laid. MIYO uses internationally approved radio bands for smart systems. The radio frequency used penetrates walls significantly better than Wi-Fi or mobile signals. In open fields, the range is up to 200m. Depending on radio obstacles, realistic ranges are 50 to 100m. The MIYO irrigation can be used worldwide.

- "If something changes in your garden, you can make adjustments with just a few clicks. This makes irrigation very easy and quick to adapt to the needs of the soil and plants. This way, a crucial factor for a blooming garden, irrigation, can always be kept optimal."
- Adding a new irrigation area is very simple. The irrigation settings of an area can be set independently of the other areas. Sensors and valves are integrated into an existing or a new irrigation circuit. The valves can be opened either simultaneously or staggered.

- "We put a lot of effort into the MIYO design and have already received several awards for it. So that your beautiful garden or terrace also gets equipment that matches. The ABS plastic used is very hard and durable. Even after many years, it can be easily cleaned and shines in the most beautiful white."
- "Whether you choose the quick connection or the screw connections, you always have the right connection. Since there are different threads in Europe and North America, you will find in the shop for the screw connections the variants for Europe (G-thread) or North America (NH-thread). The inlet of the double valve is equipped with a high-quality brass insert, ensuring that cross-threading and damage to the thread are excluded."

Everything under control with the MIYO App
The brain of your MIYO irrigation is the Cube. You can easily control it from the MIYO APP (for iOS and Android). Access from a variety of other smart systems is also possible via the open API.
The app is currently available in 15 languages: English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Arabic, Polish, Slovenian, Slovak, Turkish, and Greek.

MIYO informs you about the course of temperature, soil moisture, brightness, and carried out irrigations.
MIYO calculates the current water loss of the garden based on the garden parameters. Optionally, the irrigation duration can be adjusted to the calculated evapotranspiration values.
Current weather, rain forecast, and the rescheduling of irrigations are visible at a glance.
