The Perlschlauch made from recycled rubber granulate "sweats" the water out and distributes it evenly in the soil with the help of the suction power of the roots and the capillarity of the soil. This enables targeted and economical irrigation of rows of plants and edge plantings. By releasing water drop by drop, up to 70% water can be saved when laid in the ground, and about 50% with above-ground installation covered with mulch.
The REHAU Perlschlauch works at low water pressure and can be laid both above and below ground.
It is delivered with ready-to-connect fittings.
The hose is easy to extend and shorten.

Application

  • Reduce water pressure at the tap or by pressure reducer until water only drips from the hose. Maximum pressure 1.5 bar.
    Installation above ground or up to a maximum depth of 40 cm. Parallel hoses should be laid about 30 cm apart.
  • Do not place on sharp corners or edges, do not run over or kink
  • Shortening: Remove fitting, cut to desired length with scissors, and reattach fitting.
  • Ideal complement is the Rehau drip hose/Perlschlauch accessory set with T-pieces, 90° angles, extensions, and end pieces.


Ideally used with the smart MIYO irrigation. With sensor-controlled irrigation, the irrigation limits are usually set narrowly. If no Sensor is used, the water pressure should be set very low and long irrigation times should be used.

Very satisfied

Bought Miyo for my parents' garden to make gardening easier for them. I wasn't quite sure if my parents would get along with the technology. We then installed and set it up together, and it works wonderfully. The best part is that now 4 people can see the garden on their phones and make necessary adjustments. Clever, thoroughly thought-out system to the very end

Especially with regard to saving water, I think this is a clever idea. This year I also put a second irrigation circuit into operation; our carport roof has a bit too little substrate, so everything used to dry out there.
