What can the MIYO Google Home integration do?

With our MIYO Google Home Integration, you can use the most important information and functions of your watering system directly in Google Home. These include:

Display of the status of all sensors (e.g., soil moisture)
Display of the status of your valves
Starting manual waterings directly from Google Home

This way, you can seamlessly integrate your garden into your existing smart-home automation.

Step 1

Add new device

Add a new device in your Google Home app.

Step 2

Link app

In the next step, select "Works with Google"

Step 3

MIYO

Search for and select the MIYO service.

Step 4

Authentication

You will then be redirected to MIYO and asked to log in. Accept the connection to Google Home.

Step 5

Select devices

Google Home now shows you the devices it found that you can connect.

Irrigation control

A simple click on the irrigation zone initiates manual watering. The duration configured in the MIYO app for manual watering is used. Ongoing watering can be stopped in the same way.

A longer click on the irrigation zone provides the options “Automatic watering” and “Valve sequencing” for control.
