What is MIYO?

MIYO is a wireless, solar-powered irrigation system for gardens, patios, raised beds, and balconies. Unlike purely time-based irrigation controllers, MIYO combines soil moisture measurement, weather data, and an evapotranspiration model to irrigate only when plants really need it.

This allows MIYO to save up to 50% water, protect soil and plants from overwatering, and be conveniently controlled via the app—even when you’re away.

System Setup

A MIYO system typically consists of:

  • Cube – the central unit with internet connectivity, control, and statistics (Cube series)
  • Sensor – measures soil moisture, temperature, and brightness
  • Valves – open and close the water flow automatically or manually

Sensors and valves are solar-powered and wirelessly connected—no cables in the garden or battery changes are required.

Series Range Control
Cube series approx. 100–200 m MIYO Cube on site
LoRaWAN series up to approx. 10 km LoRaWAN gateway / cloud

Both series can be controlled in the MIYO app.
