MIYO stands for smart, responsible garden irrigation: solar-powered, sensor-based, and developed and manufactured in Europe.

Areas of Use

MIYO can be flexibly adapted to flower beds, raised beds, flowers, vegetables, lawns, trees, and many other plantings. The system is suitable for both smaller areas (balconies, patios) and medium-sized gardens and – with the LoRaWAN series – for large areas with an extensive wireless range.

History and Company

MIYO technology was developed starting in May 2016 in Vienna and has been sold on the market since 2018. The system has received several innovation awards and, from its pioneering phase onward, focused on topics such as sustainable smart homes, energy harvesting, and IoT.

In June 2022, business operations were taken over by Nauticast GmbH – an Austrian specialist in wireless and sensor technology. Development and manufacturing take place in Europe, with a focus on quality and longevity.
