The MIYO Starter Set 2V-20 is the complete system consisting of the Cube, Sensor S2, and 2V-20 double valve for up to two irrigation zones. For gardens with one water connection and two zones—for example, lawn and flower bed. Solar-powered, delivering more than 30 l/min at 3 bar, with a wireless range of approximately 200 m.

Technology – solar-powered and water-saving

MIYO is the first intelligent solar irrigation system. It supplies plants with the optimum amount of water and can be controlled and monitored at any time and from anywhere using a smartphone app. MIYO consists of a central control unit, the Cube, which is generally connected to the internet, as well as soil moisture sensors and valves. In addition to soil moisture, the soil moisture sensors measure brightness and temperature in the garden. Valves connected to the water outlet open and close the water flow. All MIYO components are connected to one another wirelessly. 

The soil moisture sensors and valves are charged by solar power, eliminating the need to replace batteries and the risk of failure due to depleted batteries. 

Irrigation can be initiated in 3 different ways:

  • manually via the smartphone 
  • in predefined time windows, like an irrigation controller
  • in MIYO mode, automatically by the Cube depending on soil moisture, the weather forecast, and garden settings

Through intelligent irrigation, MIYO saves water and protects soil and plants by preventing overwatering.

    The Cube, and therefore the entire MIYO system, can also be controlled via an API interface from various smart home systems.

    Applications

    The MIYO Starter Set 2V-20 contains all the components required for automatic garden irrigation with up to two irrigation zones. The set includes a Cube, the S2 Sensor, and the 2V-20 double valve with 3/4" screw connections.

    MIYO is ideal for irrigating balconies, patios, or small to medium-sized gardens. With its extensive adjustment options, the system can be optimally adapted to flower beds, raised beds, flowers, vegetables, lawns, trees, and all other plants. MIYO can be used with sprinklers, sprays, porous hoses, drip hoses, and micro-irrigation systems.

    Connections (variant selection):
    Inlet: G 3/4" female thread (Europe) or NH 3/4" female thread (USA, Canada)
    Outlet: 2x G 3/4" male thread (Europe) or NH 3/4" male thread (USA, Canada)

    The radio frequency can be set in the frequency bands 863–870 MHz (EU, Asia, and Africa) or 902–928 MHz (USA, Canada, Central and South America). 

    Operating requirements

    • LAN connection with internet access
    • 230 V power outlet
    • Water supply and garden hose, each with a 3/4" connection

    Bought Miyo for my parents' garden to make gardening easier for them. I wasn't quite sure if my parents would get along with the technology. We then installed and set it up together, and it works wonderfully. The best part is that now 4 people can see the garden on their phones and make necessary adjustments.     Clever, thoroughly thought-out system to the very end

    Especially with regard to saving water, I think this is a clever idea. This year I also put a second irrigation circuit into operation; our carport roof has a bit too little substrate, so everything used to dry out there.
